The Story
A bird.
Forgetting itself.
Nuktedan was once whole — a bird who moved through a world of vivid color, feeling everything. Then something broke. The emotions disappeared one by one, and the world faded with them.
Now the bird wanders gray ruins, searching for what was lost. To feel again is not just to survive — it is to understand what it means to be alive while memory still holds.
Inspired by the experience of Alzheimer's disease, Nuktedan is a meditation on memory, color, and the emotions that make us who we are.
"I don't know where I am, but I remember that yellow used to mean something beautiful."— Nuktedan, the bird
